The CL5000, a Grade I device, is a heavy-duty keyless digital lock with full size lever handles, allowing use as the primary lock on most doors, particularly in high traffic situations. Industry NewsDHI's Fire Door Annual Inspection Program to be ReleasedDHI has announced the Fire Door Annual Inspection Program will be released to the industry at the 32nd Annual Conference and Exposition in Nashville, TN, October 13th to 20th. NFPA 80 Standard for Fire Doors and Other Protective Openings, which requires the annual inspection of fire doors, has been approved and the development of the DHI training and certification program is well underway. A taskforce is developing guidelines and checklists for openings inspection, as well as inspection reports, and model contractual agreements to be negotiated with building owners for this inspection service. The inaugural presentation of this program in Nashville will include education sessions on the new inspection process guidelines as well as the certification process for companies and individuals. This agreement allows Honeywell to integrate biometric enrollment and identity proofing, as well as card management and issuance of biometrically-enabled secure credentials, into its physical access control product suite, reported Security Sales & Integration.
