DJ Friese Promoted to Executive Vice-President of C.R. Laurence Co., Inc. (CRL)

Los Angeles-based, C.R. Laurence Co., Inc. (CRL), a leading supplier to the glazing, architectural, construction, industrial, and automotive industries, is proud to announce the promotion of DJ Friese to the position of Executive Vice President.

DJ first joined the company in 1992. His positions have included Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, Vice-president of Customer Service, and Vice-president of Sales and Service. DJ is also a Corporate Officer, serving as a member of the Executive Committee.

Weather Shield Names Senior Sales Managers

Steven Walden has been named Western senior sales manager. Walden brings more than 15 years of experience in sales management in the window and door industry including development of company leadership programs, sales and channel initiatives, larger builder strategies, customer/field service and installed sales. In his role as Western senior sales manager, Walden will lead the Weather Shield sales team for Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, Hawaii and British Columbia, Canada.

Dan Drost has been named North Central senior sales manager. Drost joined Weather Shield in 1993 and most recently served as North Central regional sales manager. As North Central senior sales manager, Drost will lead the Weather Shield sales team for North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Bill Dix has been named Northeastern senior sales manager. Dix joined Weather Shield in 1994 as Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager. As Northeastern senior sales manager, Dix will lead the Weather Shield sales team for Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, as well as portions of Ontario and Quebec, Canada.

Lohman Promoted at Negwer

Negwer Materials Inc. has promoted Greg Lohman to shipping and receiving coordinator in its St. Louis office.

In his new position, Lohman expedites all shipping and receiving and customer orders for Negwer's St. Louis yard. Additionally, he oversees material transfers for all Negwer yard locations. Lohman previously served as a driver/yardman for 26 years at Negwer's St. Louis location.
