New Design Project Engineer at Amesbury Door Hardware

Greg Morehouse has been promoted to the position of Design/Project Engineer for the Door Hardware division of Amesbury Group in Sioux Falls, SD. Greg will be responsible for working on next generation hardware for the sliding patio and swing door hardware company.

Greg brings several years of engineering experience from Lockheed Martin where he was the Design Engineer for the Atlas Program. Morehouse graduated from South Dakota School of Mined & Technology in Rapid City, SD.

Quality Engineer Added at Amesbury Door Hardware

Lisa Budde has been promoted to the position of Quality Engineer for the Door Hardware division of Amesbury Group in Sioux Falls, SD. Lisa is responsible for coordination ISO and OHSAS documentation, and Quality Compliance, in her new position for the sliding patio and swing door hardware company.

Architectural Control Systems (ACSI) announces the introduction of the MK-10 Request to Exit Switch Kit for their Series 1500 Product Line of Electric Mortise Locks. The MK-10 is a field installable switch kit for use with all Schlage L. Series Mortise Locks.

The MK-10 contains a SPDT switch that monitors the activation the inside trim of the Schlage mortise lock. The MK-10 is provided with three wires to accommodate normally open or normally closed applications.

Detex Corporation Announces Extended Warranties on Complete Door Hardware Line

Detex Corporation, manufacturer and worldwide distributor of door hardware for life safety and loss prevention, is introducing extended warranty periods on all Detex products, effective immediately.

With an established reputation as a premier manufacturer in their product categories, Detex continuously works to add even more value and durability to its line. Limited warranties for the Detex ECL-230 and ECL-600 (exit control locks) have increased from five years to ten years. The F90KR (keyed removable mullions) limited warranty has increased from three years to ten years. For Advantex and Value Series exit devices, the limited warranty period has been increased to ten years from date of purchase for mechanical defects and three years for electrical component defects. For all other Detex hardware products, limited warranties have been increased to three years from the purchase date.
