Nesselrode Named Director of Global Sourcing at Simonton Windows

Simonton Windows, a leader in the vinyl window and patio door industry, has named Troy Nesselrode to fill the new position of Director of Global Sourcing for the award-winning company.

A five-year Simonton employee, Nesselrode will now be in charge of commodity management for the company, along with purchasing and cost improvements. In his new role, Nesselrode will have the company's commodity managers, material buyers and supplier quality engineer reporting to him in a consolidated effort to revise the sourcing effort for the company on a domestic and global basis. Nesselrode will also develop the strategic purchasing direction and initiatives for Simonton Windows and will be accountable for developing and managing the supplier base.

Atrium Companies, Inc. Hires Eastern Region President

Atrium Companies, Inc., parent company of Atrium Windows and Doors, announced the appointment of Robert Ractliffe as president of the company's eastern region. In addition to overseeing operations at Thermal Industries in Pittsburgh, Ractliffe will head up the company's Atrium Windows and Doors divisions in Welcome, NC and Jacksonville, FL.

Linetec Names Joe Ramuta as Regional Sales Manager

Linetec hired Joe Ramuta as its regional sales manager serving Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. Drawing from 19 years experience in the window industry, Ramuta will counsel customers on architectural and commercial finishing choices.

Ramuta joins Linetec from its sibling company, Wausau Window and Wall Systems. Most recently, he served as a design engineer managing projects from inception through installation. His previous responsibilities included product management, research and development; sales and marketing assistance; pre-bid engineering; and technical services.
